Silly Sterotyping

 Hi bloggers,

Today I have been doing stereotyping in my writing workshops. If you do not know what stereotyping is  then it is when you like tell someone that girls have to wear a dress and boys have to wear T-shirts and short that is an example of stereotyping, but it is not true girl can wear what they want to wear and boy can too.

Cute Rabbit

 Hi bloggers,

Today I am going to be telling you some facts about my rabbits. I have two rabbits. Pablo is a boy and the other one is a girl and she is called Trixie. We  brought them last summer, I did not get to see them when they came because I was with my grandma and grandpa, I was camping with them. So Lexi Daniel, Mum and Dad got to bring them. They were first Lexi rabbits but Lexi gave them to me. Anyway I was always caring for them when Lexi just sat down and watched TV.

What do they eat and drink? If you thought that I do not feed them then you are definitely wrong. I feed them mostly hay and rabbit nuts but on special days, I will give them a treat like a carrot or a apple. They drink water. I feed them twice a day I give them nut in the morning and afternoon same as hay and water. So that is what I feed them.

What do they look like? Pablo and Trixie have two colours. Pablo has dark brownish grey and white and Trixie has light brown and white.

What do they do? they cuddle, sleep, eat, drink, do tricks, dig and clean themselfs.

Do you have a pet?

Do you have a rabbit or two?

Should schools ban junk food?🍨

 Hi Bloggers,

Today I am going to be showing you my writing for this week. We a focusing on rhetorical questions  a rhetorical question is when you want don't want someone to answer you but you want people to think about what you said. So here it is:

Should schools ban junk food?

My opinion is that schools should ban junk food because it is not good for your teeth and not healthy for you. I am certain that it should be a one off, like a special occasion or a special day.

If you share it and the person is allergic to it and the person doesn't know that they are allergic to it you could get sick. It makes you silly and hyperactive because it has too much sugar.

Current opinion is that junk food does not help your brain to learn, which means that children should not bring junk food  and bring healthy food to school.

According to the health dieticians, junk food can increase body weight which can make students feel less confident.

Now it is easy to see the reasons why junk food should be banned from schools. If you always had too many junk things ? Do  you agree with me ?

Our Margret Mahy trip

Hi, welcome to my blog today. I will be showing you about my town trip recount

here is an Introduction. It was in town, it was Thursday the twentieth of may, we saw wakas,

Magret Mahy, Victoria Square, Tuna and Traditional Maori Mats.

 Margret Mahy -

first we did a scavenger hunt and then we saw some pictures that were carved in the concret and a

path with carved words on it.

Waka-

Before we  could hop in the waka we learned some basic drills to help us as we went along side

the same river we saw some eals in.

Victoria Square -

When it was time to start Mrs Brown explained what we where doing at Victoria Square. Then she told as

to get into budes I went with Olivia then we set of to explorer we found lots of stuff we fond a weeping willow tree.

Tuna and mats-

We had a walk and looked for traditional maori mats.

My favourite part of the trip was seeing the Tuna and Mats. I liked seeing the Tuna because they were

so fast and also because they were like wigley snakes but they were in the water and they were bigger

and not as scary.I liked seeing the Mats because they were all different shapes and sizes and colors.

Something I learnt was that all the different Mats have a message and also that they have different

colors and for the Tuna I learned that they all look different same as the Mats they also look different.

I also learned that Tuna has different colors shapes and there are different sizes.

The thing I found the most interesting was the mats because there was lots of different things to

look at and they all have different messages and different colors and also different shades of colors

like red, white and black.

This trip has helped me with my PBL because I learned that there are different kinds of mats

and that all the mats have different shapes, sizes and colors. I also learned that Tuna has different

colors shapes and there are different sizes. I also learned that Victoria Square is named after

Queen Victoria.
