My Amazing Maths

Welcome back to my blog 

This week for my maths we had to make a google slid or drawing about rounding and compensating. Here is  an example : 199+468=468+200-1=667. So how you do it is you have your question and then you put the biggest number and then find the closest number and then say it is 200 and then you tack away the number you added and that is how you do compensating. What is your favourite maths strategy?

    Hey Kiriana,
    Your slideshow has some amazing explainations on it. I love your backgrounds and your fonts. This reminded me of when I did something similar to this goal that you have right now. Next time you could do some more writing and maybe do some place value using addition and subtraction too.
